Wiechs Barossa Valley Egg Noodles
Tanunda, SA
  • Minimum order of $25.00 (excluding shipping)
The original Wiech’s egg noodle recipe and craft have been in place since Marie Wiech first started making and selling her German noodles in 1935. The noodles have always been made in Tanunda in the Barossa Valley by skilled artisans. This Barossa pantry staple is created using traditional methods, mid-century equipment, and high-quality, local ingredients. We are committed to preserving these generational recipes, Barossa history and food culture, and love seeing our noodles in homes across Australia. We use all natural products with no nasty preservatives or additives. The noodles are slow dried for 2-3 days before being hand packed ready for your enjoyment. As our noodles are traditionally cut (compared to extruded dough), they have a silky texture. Use these in your favorite pasta and Asian noodle recipes, or try them the traditional German way in a soup or on the side of a saucy stew.
