Serene’s Beeswax Chandlery was established in 2016 by Trevor Sorensen, a second generation beekeeper from Warwick and Amanda and Serena Bath of Maryvale, both from the Southern Downs region, Queensland.

Beeswax is the foundation of all products produced by Serene's. It is a beautiful natural resource, which is harvested by Australian industry standards. The semi-filtered wax from the Apirist, is delivered directly to Serene's where it passes through several processes of gentle filtration before it is ready for skin care, candles and other products.

Local Southern Downs; oils, goat milk, tallow and honey are included in their products for wood and leather conditioning balms, body products and soaps.

The Queensland Beekeepers Association included their candles in the Association’s display at the Royal Brisbane Show in 2018. In 2019 Serene's Beeswax Chandlery was included in the Association’s list of producers and exclusive supplier of beeswax candles, at the Royal Brisbane Show.

Payment is made at "point of sale". The system is automated, calculating your order and postage, for the simplest process. PayPal is secure, fast and easy way to pay online.


Our regular shipping days are: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, after cleared payment. If you require Express Post please make a note on your order. All our candles are stock on hand, but for larger orders of multiple candles, we make to order. As the candles are made by hand this process may take longer than a week, if so, we will contact you with an estimated shipping date.


We strive to ensure that all our products, received by our customers, are tested and ready. If you receive a product that is not performing as it should or if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with you purchase, please contact us, so we can resolve any problems.

Broken or Damaged Goods

With due care, all our products are packed securely by us. However, goods may be damaged in transit. Should anything be broken or damaged in delivery, please advise us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel. Provide photographs both of the damaged goods and the box they were shipped in. We will contact you within 1 business day to discuss the matter of refund or replacement.
A refund does not apply to:  goods which have been worn or used, damaged after the delivery, any attempt has been made to alter the product, if the item/s have been dropped or broken.


We recommend that you return the product/s via Registered Post and you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit, therefore advise you to take out shipment registration and insurance with your postal carrier. Serene's Beeswax Chandlery will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping well be deducted from your refund.
