Supply usually starts 1st March till end of July (depending on the season). Our nuts are Organically grown and hand picked, and we dont use any chemicals or pesticides! Recently, we also started producing Chestnut flour and meal which is gluten free and can be used as wheat flour substitute in baking and pasta making. These will be listed as soon as they become available (early March 2021).
We also sell grafted Chestnut trees (bare rooted) in several varieties during the winter.
In addition we also sell local Walnuts (in shell), grown by our neighbour. These walnuts are current season and naturally air dried (not kiln dried) resulting in optimum freshness.
New for 2021 are Shiitake Mushroom logs grown on our own Chestnut wood.
logs These logs have been inoculated with Shiitake mycelium which after about one year will start producing numerous Shiitake Mushrooms several times a year several years.
