We are passionate about our products and we hope you are too. Eat well, live well, live long!
Camilo is a family-owned producer of magnificent, fresh extra virgin olive oils (EVOO) and gourmet foods. The first Olive trees were planted at Camilo in 2002 and the first oil was produced in 2008. All involved are passionate about creating and delivering high quality products to consumers. Our medium-sized grove is a beautiful place to create products that are recognised internationally and in Australia for their high quality and delicious taste. Our oils, infusions, jam, tapenade and olive salts are sold internationally, with Japan our major customer. We export to Taiwan and Canada who are also enthusiastic buyers of our products. Our ultra premium EVOOs have been listed every year since 2011 in "Flos Olei – a guide to the world of extra virgin olive oil". We have won premier, gold and silver medals at Olive Japan and silver medals in New York. Camilo is a consistent award winner at the Australian Olive Association's national show, and the Sydney Royal and Royal Melbourne fine food awards. Our unique gourmet products include gold and silver medal winning olive salts that add delicious flavours to food. Camilo’s honey balsamic glaze can be used on everything from steak to desserts. The honey comes from Camilo’s own farm bees and it is reduced with aged Australian balsamic vinegar. The olive relish, jam and tapenade are medal winners too, along with our great range of infusions. We are as proud of our label as we of our products. Peter Watts, of Watts Design, designed the label and the illustration was created by Australian illustrator Ned Culic from photos of Camilo. We only changed the label for the 2015 harvest extra virgin olive oil at the request of our Canadian buyers who desperately wanted a kangaroo on there. We love the 'roos now and have incorporated them into our English-language labels. They are a great reflection of Camilo which has kangaroos living on our property as well as a wide range of birds and animals that use our wildlife corridors that we planted when we established the grove in 2002.
