How to Buy

 

The following information provides detailed instructions to assist you to buy from Farmhouse Direct.

Step 1 – Search and Browse for PRODUCTS

There are a number of ways to find products on Farmhouse Direct, including using the navigation bar to browse and search:

  • a)Products 
    Click the PRODUCTS button you will be shown all products in all categories (the default order for this page is by most recently added).
  • b) Producer 
    Click on the PRODUCERS button and you will be shown a list of producers and all of their products.
  • c)Search 
    Simply type in the product or producer that you are looking for and hit Enter on your keyboard. 

 

Step 2 – Choosing PRODUCTS

a)      When you find the products you want simply enter desired quantity and click on "Add to Basket".

 


b)      The Add to Basket button will change to 'Added' once you click, you may choose to "Checkout Now" or "Continue Shopping" (see image below):

 

 

Note: "Stock up and save on shipping" text will be displayed if there is a shipping saving when you buy multiple quantities.

c)      If you click "Checkout Now", you will proceed to the next Step – if you click "Continue Shopping", simply repeat the process of searching or browsing for products and Adding them to your Basket. We recommend that you buy multiple items from each Producer to optimise the cost of shipping as each producer, where possible, offers shipping savings when you buy more from their product range. 

 

Step 3 – Checking Out

a)      After you have Added all of your items, click "Checkout Now" or you may click the "My Basket" icon in the top right of every page in order to be directed to the Basket view.

 

 

b)      In the Basket view you may adjust quantities, Checkout or go back and Continue Shopping (see image below).

 

 

c)      If you click "Continue Shopping" you will be directed back to the PRODUCTS page. If you click "Checkout" you will be directed to the Delivery Information page.

 

 

d)      On the Delivery Information page (shown above) you may:

  • Edit the Recipient’s Delivery Information and
  • Proceed to pay with PayPal – by clicking the "Pay Now" button.

 

e)     On the PayPal screen you will be shown your Farmhouse Direct - Order 20120306450020 (number shown for example purposes only).

f)      You may then pay for your order via your PayPal account or by using a credit card.

 

Step 4 – My Orders

a)      If you wish you view your orders you may do so by clicking on the "My Profile" button on top right of every screen. All your orders will be shown under the "My Orders" tab

 

 

a)      You may click on the each order to view what was purchased, when it was purchased, what amount was paid and where it was shipped.

b)      The Status of your order will also be shown as:

  • Either "Paid" if your order has gone through but has yet to be Shipped or,
  • "Shipped" if the order has left the producer and is one its way to you.
